Nurse Lauren
Director and Clinic Founder

Lauren started her career as a Registered Nurse after qualifying with a Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing Studies from Northumbria University in 2010.
She has spent the majority of her nursing career in urgent and emergency care, working in major trauma centres and general hospitals.
She first discovered her passion for facial anatomy and aesthetics whilst working amongst a multi disciplinary team of plastic and maxiofacial specialities at Leeds General Infirmary.
In 2018 Lauren perused her interest and began her journey into medical aesthetics training in and with some of the most recognised organisations and trainers in the field.
Combining her love of travel and medical aesthetics she combined the two and established Kahuna Skin & Aesthetic Clinic in 2018, Hawaiian for magician and big wave.
She has continued to excel in the industry and became International Educator for PCA SKIN in 2022 offering education to not only her patients but distributors and skin therapists in Europe and winning ‘Best Ageing Transformation’ in 2023.
Lauren maintains her commitment to the NHS and continues to work in urgent care hospitals around the region as an independent nurse practitioner. She recognises the importance of maintaining knowledge in patient assessment, treatment, transferable skills and a holistic approach to individual needs, so you can be assured that all her expert advice is given with your safety as her number one priority.
In Summer 2023, Lauren opened her brand new clinic in the heart of Scarborough after running her business in a smaller clinic location for 5 years. She now offers the latest gold standard treatments in the industry.
She is currently studying for her Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine and after already completing her exams hopes to have completed this by winter 2024.
Dr Stephen Marmion
General Practitioner

Dr Stephen Marmion began his journey into medicine in 2005, having previously worked in engineering and manufacturing roles. He qualified as a medical doctor from Hull York Medical School in 2010 and then as a General practitioner in 2016.
He currently works in both primary and urgent care within the NHS in the North Yorkshire region and has a specialist interest in all things Dermatology. Dr Marmion has advanced his qualifications in minor skin procedures, cryotherapy and joint injections and now offers these regulated services privately in clinic.
Dr Marmion currently offers minor surgical procedures at the clinic such as
- Wart and skin tag removal
- Shave excisions
- Lypoma removal
- Joint injections
- Cyst removal
Dr Marmion runs his clinics twice monthly on a Saturday.
All procedures include a thorough consultation prior to removal.
